I need some mommy help!

I think my little man might be starting to teeth. He's been running a fever, drooling, chewing his fingers, and being whiney. I'm saying those are the obvious signs, but he's also had a cold. Today however, I caught him doing this weird thing. At first I thought he was choking, but then I realized he was itching his gums. Has any of your kids ever done this?

Hmm, nope. Get those dissolving tablets though.

I don't remember if my kids did that or not. It does sound like he is teething. Keep in mind that his teeth can and probably will come up not break through and then go back down it takes some time for them to actually come through. Give him some tylenol. When Haylee cut her first two teeth she cried for almost 3 days straight NO KIDDING and that was so not the norm for her. If he starts pulling on his ears or the fever continues I would take him to the dr just to make sure there is nothing else going on. GOOD LUCK! Let me know if you need anything!

Brayden never did that, but he did have a low-grade fever, he stuck his hands in his mouth, cried a lot and woke up consistently throughout the night. I hated giving him Orajel because I tasted it and thought it was disgusting and it only lasted 5 minutes of numbing. I did to the Highland's dissolvable tablets and that helped. I also gave him cold /wet wash cloths for him to chew on since he didn't like the teething toys. Good luck, it seems like forever but once that one tooth breaks through you'll breathe a sigh of relief.
