Kolton hits the big screen!!

Okay, maybe not the big big screen, but YouTube is a pretty big deal in the baby world!

Last night I had kolton propped up on my lap, I was taking his legs and pushing them around like he was riding a bike and singing to him. So then I started to pretend his legs was a microphone and I said "Today on the Kolton Show we have a special guest! Daaaddy!!" and I took the mic (Kolt's leg) and put over to my husbands mouth so his foot was the main part of the mic my husband would speak in and said "Is there anything you'd like to say daddy?" and right when I had his legs like that Kolt let out THE biggest fart ever. It was the most hilarious thing in the world. My son is the gassiest child in the world, I swear. He is constantly grunting and passing gas (it's so embarrassing when we're out in public) but any other time it's the funniest thing and I'm destined to get his funny farts on video. So in the chase of catching his farts on film (har, har) I was video taping him today. Didn't get any farts, but I did get some cute clips of him cheesing and being a ninja baby!

Hooo..Hooo..Hooo.

Yesterday we were finally able to take Kolton to see Santa! One thing you can count on when going to see Santa is long lines, outrageous picture prices, and horrible pictures. Check, check, and uh check! We managed all three. Hooray! We got there while Santa was "feeding his reindeer" and unfortunately the line was already formed. When Santa finally came back from lunch, I mean feeding his reindeer he had us all sing Jingle Bells. Kolt was a little too cool for that though, he decided to keep sleeping. After waiting in line for about a hour and a half we finally woke him up, when we first handed him to Santa he wasn't too sure on what was going on. AND also, what happened to that little mini mac that we first brought home. THAT baby for sure didn't have a double chin. Lol! We love it though, double chin chunkiness and all!! So after the picture Kolt decided that's when he wanted to cheese and be a total ham, of course. I'm actually quite happy with the pictures. If we wanted a stinking glamour shot we would have went to a much more professional place than the town center mall. Awful holiday pictures are priceless (well, not really. They're actually quite pricey) the crazier the face -the better they are! Can you say senior yearbook picture worthy? I can!!

Time sure does fly..

I can't believe my baby boy is already a month. Time has seriously flown by. I think about when we first brought him home, and how far he has come. He was barely over 5lbs and now he has chubby cheeks and a round little face. He's developed such a personality, and to see him grin makes my day. I seriously never knew I'd love being a mommy so much. Although I'm learning as I go, it's such an exciting journey and I'm loving every minute of it. Even the dirty, foul, stinky, stinky diapers. (Did I just say that?) My husband and I have had 4 great years of marriage. When it was just us it wasn't anything to pack up and go out of town for the weekend, run to the store at midnight just to look around, or spend tons of bucks on purses, computers, or other meaningless items. Although those days were great, I wouldn't change a thing. Having Kolton made our family complete. And yes, running out at a drop of a dime isn't as easy as it use to be, and no I can't remember the last time I slept through the night completely, but my little monster boy is so worth it.

Here's some of Monster's 4 week pictures.

Cutest 49er Fan Ever.

Up until now, my husband was the cutest 49er fan ever, but he has some MAJOR competition now. Some really good friends of ours that are stationed in Cali got their hands on some 49ers stuff and hooked Kolton up. You know my husband was thrilled! Although the hat is a little big and he has some room to grow in it, my husband couldn't resist -we slapped the hat on him, and snapped some pictures!

Introducing..

our awesome little family.

Sure, most of you guys probably know me, but let me introduce myself and the other awesome members of our little family.

My name is Samantha. I've been married for a little over 4 years to Adam. Adam's is going on his 5th year of being in the Air Force. We're both from West Virginia -where we met. I followed Adam to Georgia (his first duty station) in 04. August of this year we moved to Maryland, which let me be honest is much better than Georgia. Although I met alot of great friends there, we're just closer to home here and it works for us better.

October 29 2008 at 4:36am the love of both of our lives was born. Kolton James-Allen. He came in 6lbs who knew such a tiny terror could win our hearts so quickly. We couldn't have been anymore blessed. I've always heard people say that having their child made their family feel more complete. Now I understand. He totally completes our awesome little family.
