Kolton hits the big screen!!

Okay, maybe not the big big screen, but YouTube is a pretty big deal in the baby world!

Last night I had kolton propped up on my lap, I was taking his legs and pushing them around like he was riding a bike and singing to him. So then I started to pretend his legs was a microphone and I said "Today on the Kolton Show we have a special guest! Daaaddy!!" and I took the mic (Kolt's leg) and put over to my husbands mouth so his foot was the main part of the mic my husband would speak in and said "Is there anything you'd like to say daddy?" and right when I had his legs like that Kolt let out THE biggest fart ever. It was the most hilarious thing in the world. My son is the gassiest child in the world, I swear. He is constantly grunting and passing gas (it's so embarrassing when we're out in public) but any other time it's the funniest thing and I'm destined to get his funny farts on video. So in the chase of catching his farts on film (har, har) I was video taping him today. Didn't get any farts, but I did get some cute clips of him cheesing and being a ninja baby!

Hooo..Hooo..Hooo.

Yesterday we were finally able to take Kolton to see Santa! One thing you can count on when going to see Santa is long lines, outrageous picture prices, and horrible pictures. Check, check, and uh check! We managed all three. Hooray! We got there while Santa was "feeding his reindeer" and unfortunately the line was already formed. When Santa finally came back from lunch, I mean feeding his reindeer he had us all sing Jingle Bells. Kolt was a little too cool for that though, he decided to keep sleeping. After waiting in line for about a hour and a half we finally woke him up, when we first handed him to Santa he wasn't too sure on what was going on. AND also, what happened to that little mini mac that we first brought home. THAT baby for sure didn't have a double chin. Lol! We love it though, double chin chunkiness and all!! So after the picture Kolt decided that's when he wanted to cheese and be a total ham, of course. I'm actually quite happy with the pictures. If we wanted a stinking glamour shot we would have went to a much more professional place than the town center mall. Awful holiday pictures are priceless (well, not really. They're actually quite pricey) the crazier the face -the better they are! Can you say senior yearbook picture worthy? I can!!

Time sure does fly..

I can't believe my baby boy is already a month. Time has seriously flown by. I think about when we first brought him home, and how far he has come. He was barely over 5lbs and now he has chubby cheeks and a round little face. He's developed such a personality, and to see him grin makes my day. I seriously never knew I'd love being a mommy so much. Although I'm learning as I go, it's such an exciting journey and I'm loving every minute of it. Even the dirty, foul, stinky, stinky diapers. (Did I just say that?) My husband and I have had 4 great years of marriage. When it was just us it wasn't anything to pack up and go out of town for the weekend, run to the store at midnight just to look around, or spend tons of bucks on purses, computers, or other meaningless items. Although those days were great, I wouldn't change a thing. Having Kolton made our family complete. And yes, running out at a drop of a dime isn't as easy as it use to be, and no I can't remember the last time I slept through the night completely, but my little monster boy is so worth it.

Here's some of Monster's 4 week pictures.
