This morning Kolton woke us up about 6am, which is totally fine because that was putting him at 10 hours straight of sleeping. After we played with him for a while we put him in his jumperoo. Once he was in there we noticed he wasn't jumping. He was just standing staring at us. So Adam took him back out and laid him on the bed with us. That's when Kolton crawled (well, Kolton's version of crawling. He takes his head and using it and his feet to scoot) up to his daddy, rolled on his belly, and shut his eyes! What?! Is this my son? My son is the kid that needs a bottle, swaddled, and rocked. How totally precious, huh? I can say since Kolton's been sick he's been EXTRA-cuddly and I'm SO loving it! Let's just say I'm getting a lot less housework done because of it.
Here's a picture of him after he crawled up next to his Daddy...

Well, what do you know?
When I was pregnant with Kolton I took a Gender Predictor and it of course was correct.
So this morning I took one for Baby Bragg 2.0. Check it out..
I can't say I'm shocked. I told Adam after the ultrasound that it's a boy. I just have a feeling, like I did with Kolton. If I said I wasn't a little disappointed, I'd be lying. Although I really felt it was a boy, I HOPED like crazy it was a girl. We know these things aren't a 100% accurate, buuuut...hey, that's totally fine if it is a boy. Another awesomely cute healthy baby boy in my life is ALWAYS welcomed!! When we told Kolton he'd probably have a brother he said "Good! I didn't want to share my toys with a stinkin girl anyway!" :)

I do NOT love this commercial.
Have you guys seen this commercial? I'm all for cute marketing and I'm THE least prude person on the planet, but come on. You have to draw the line on this commercial. It's advertising KIDS MEALS! Everytime I see it come on tv I get so furious.
Okay, so tell me what you think.

Hoppy Easter!!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Easter. We had a great weekend! (Until Kolton got sick on us)
Saturday we colored eggs and baked cookies! We ended up coloring 36 eggs! Just for the 3 of us! We had a blast though, we wrote our names on an egg each (even one for Baby Bragg 2009 AND the beagles) Sunday we woke up early and the Easter Bunny left all three of us baskets! Gotta love that bunny. Although Kolton was more interested in the candy in Adam's and the brightly colored eggs in mine, he enjoyed all his goodies too! We had a yummy dinner and then took about a 2 hour nap. Gotta love that!
However, when we woke up from our nap we noticed Kolton wasn't feeling well. He was kind of whiney and felt warm. He ended up getting pretty sick and running a fever of 101. After talking to the doctor on the phone she said just give him PediaLyte for the next 24 hours and if his temp raises more bring him in to the doctor. Poor little guy. I hate when he's sick. :( And sick on Easter at that!! I'll keep you updated on him.
So I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Even though our little man ended up sick we always enjoy lazy weekends with the family! :)
Oh and the box you see Kolton sitting in is from his MawMaw and PawPaw Bragg. It was mostly for me and Adam, but they sent him a stuffed Froggy that he loves. The box weighed 21 pounds and it was ALL chocolate!!!

Meet our little kumquat!
Remember this post that I did telling you all that I was pregnant. How we went to the doctor for an ultrasound, but I wasn't far enough yet for the doctor to see anything, so I had to come back 2 weeks later. Well, today was that 2 weeks later. It turned out to be a very long appointment. Let me go ahead and clarify that the baby is absolutely fine. Just something a little funny. Well, not funny.. down right hilarious. I'm ALOT further along than we all thought. I'm actually 10 weeks. Two and half months. Without getting into anything too much, she just couldn't get a good picture of the baby 2 weeks ago, but today (after a few minutes) she picked that little booger up and it was kicking and moving like crazy. Reminds me of the when I seen Kolton for the first time. It makes everything so real. So great. So exciting. I was riding home from the doctor thinking of how fun this is going to be!
So here's some ultrasound pictures. They're not the greatest, but you can see baby bragg 2.0! :)
I read on BabyCenter.com to see what it's doing today on it's 10 week birthday and it's "swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they'll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy.
If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.
In other developments: Your baby's limbs can bend now. His hands are flexed at the wrist and meet over his heart, and his feet may be long enough to meet in front of his body. The outline of his spine is clearly visible through translucent skin, and spinal nerves are beginning to stretch out from his spinal cord. Your baby's forehead temporarily bulges with his developing brain and sits very high on his head, which measures half the length of his body. From crown to rump, he's about 1 1/4 inches long. In the coming weeks, your baby will again double in size — to nearly 3 inches." How amazing right. It also said at 10 weeks it is about the size of a kumquat! That's a little bigger than a quarter!
So tell me, who does it look like? :)
Oh! My due date is 4 Nov! Since it hasn't been long enough since my c-section, I can't carry full term. SO, that means the baby will more than likely be born the day after Kolt's birthday. Couldn't have planned it better huh? lolol!

I can not believe I haven't shared these.
Hippity hoppity...
Easters on it's way!!
Most of you guys probably don't know that Easter is my FAVORITE holiday! Growing up, my parents hooked our Easter baskets up! Candy, toys, clothes, movies, EVERYTHING! I love the colors of the holiday, the traditions like hunting Easter eggs and coloring eggs. I just LOVE it! lol I can not wait to carry those traditions on with our kids.
Yesterday we took Kolton to meet the Easter Bunny. Adam was just sure that he would be terrified of him, but he wasn't at all. To make sure we got a good picture we handed Kolt to Mr Bunny with his back towards him. Kolt kept grabbing Mr Bunny's hands and trying to put them in his mouth and eat him, lol! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture, I was too busy laughing. When we picked Kolt off Mr Bunny's lap I turned him so he could see the big stuffed animal he had been sitting on and Kolton just smiled and stared at him. We ended up getting a great shot, but when I scan it it looks grainy so I just used the one I took with my camera (which personally I think is better anyways)

Squash, Squash EVERYWHERE!
While Adam was feeding Kolton a couple days ago, he thought he'd see if our smart boy could feed himself. It's much easier to watch the basketball game for Adam, right? Well Smarty Pants DOES understand food -on spoon -spoon into mouth. However getting his crazy little arms to manage that spoon into his mouth is a different story. Instead it ended up EVERYWHERE else! But how hilarious!
A dogs life..

Kolton Speaks!
My son is pretty much the most amazing thing. I know parents always hype their kid up, but my son is SO smart. Some of the things he's doing and has been doing for so long astounds me. On one hand, I absolutely love it, on the other, I want him to slow down and be a baby! Now although he's not saying "Mom" or even "momma", but "mamamama" just so happens to be the first thing he jabbers. He has squealed and "talked" since he was 6 weeks old, but his jabbers are so precious to me. Hearing his voice makes me smile so much. He's absolutely adorable and I couldn't love this boy anymore!
Here's a video of SOME jabbering. Of course as soon as I walked out of the room he let the mamamas roll more, but this is precious enough. :)
Oh PS, I don't know what's funnier; his grunting or the fact he tries to shove his foot in his mouth ALL-THE-TIME.

Ouch!
I know this video is old news, but I showed Adam the other night and it was the first time he had ever watched it. I think it's the cutest thing ever. It makes us want to name the new baby Charlie so Kolton can say "Charlie bit me!" I'm not sure if it'll be as funny in a southern Maryland accent though. lol
Give me back that Filet O' Fish...
Have any of you seen this commercial? It's one of those catchy commercials that start out funny, but once it's stuck in your head you hate it!
A very special month.
I'm not sure if you guys know, but April is Autism Awareness Month. I met a very adorable boy while I was living in Georgia who had Autism. His mom (who is a very good friend of mine) will be the first to tell you not to EVER take for granted the things that may seem small. Such as saying "I love you.", giving a hug, opening a candy wrapper, or something even as just saying why they're not feeling well. To be a parent of a child with Autism is probably one of the strongest people in my eyes. I hope if any of my children have even the slightest case of Autism, I'll be blessed with patience like my friend has.
PS my friend's son is talking more and more everyday. It just goes to show you what pure dedication, motivation, and love will do for you. :)
